Albert Wadge 1st Generation Owner
An opportunist in his own right, Albert, alongside his son Chuck, founded AW Fireguard out of necessity. After learning that their employer had no interest in the fire prevention side of the business, Albert applied his entrepreneurial spirit to build what is now one of BC's most trusted names in fire protection. His reputation for integrity and attention to detail established the foundation every generation since has built upon.
Charlie Wadge 2nd Generation Owner
Working alongside Albert from the earliest days, Charlie was central to growing AW Fireguard from a van and a home office into a full-service, industry-recognized facility. Taking leadership of the company, Charlie drove the development of service standards, the Port Moody service centre, and the team culture that still defines the company today.
